Hayley currently works as Business Services Executive for MVN Associates Limited who are a bookkeeping and payroll company offering a range of business services to SME's. She previously worked with Haines Watts CA where she did her training to become a Chartered Accountant with ICAS qualifying in 2010.
Hayley has worked as an accountant with a variety of companies including the third sector throughout her career so far. She joined the board of STAR Project in December 2015 and became Chairperson in November 2016.
Hazel has a background in policy and research. She is the Advocacy and Campaigns Manager with Tearfund in Scotland. She previously worked in the Scottish Parliament for over 7 years and before that worked for the Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office. Hazel has a PhD on the Scottish Parliament and organised interests.
Hazel joined the board of STAR Project in November 2015.
Lucy has worked as a Geography teacher in South Lanarkshire since 2006. She has authored a number of educational courses at GCSE and A Level and has been involved in the development of a virtual learning platform to deliver a range of online educational courses. She also works with a distance learning company providing education to private candidates and home schooled students. She has worked for the SQA as a marker since 2009. Lucy joined the board of STAR in December 2016.
Emma is currently a History and RMPS teacher in Duncanrig Secondary in East Kilbride since 2010. She trained in schools in both the state and independent sectors across Glasgow. She also works as part of the Scottish Qualifications Authority as a marker and local authority nominee. She has been actively involved with charities as a volunteer for over 10 years and partnered with local authorities, small businesses and the media on community initiatives within South Lanarkshire and Glasgow City Council. She joined the board of Star in November 2016.
Stewart is currently Managing Director of GS Sports Ltd, a company that delivers sports coaching to 2 year old’s - adults, and is a fully qualified UAFA 'A' license coach, and trainer for trainers with college lecturer status.
Stewart has played professional football both in Scotland and Canada and has coached the St Mirren FC's youth/2nd and 1st teams. He has also been active in the community with a local charity, Fitting In, for the last 11 years and has worked in partnership with many of Renfrewshire’s statutory and third sector organisations throughout this time.
